Beeee-zeeee !

MONDAY: After tuition, I headed over to town to find my brother and his friends. Reason being, he was going to Weihua's house and I wanted to have a look at it because he kept raving about it. I took 12 there from Tanah Merah because I had much time to spare and it was a bad move.

Damn. I had to have a dude who can't seem to keep his fingernails outta his mouth join me on the same seat midway through my journey. I swear, he keeps biting his nails -HORRORS of horrors, you can actually HEAR him doing it. ARGGGGGHHHH- at 15 second intervals and then he goes back to playing his DS. Ugh. And that poor gadget is actually white in colour, Geez.

Since my brother was there late, I actually met Herrick and Weihua first. Junyi joined us later and they were so engrossed in their arcade games, I went to walk a little at PS. As I was passing the pet shop, I overheard this.

Little boy: Mei Mei, next time when I grow up, I buy for you hamster for your birthday okay?
Littler sister: *grins widely at him and runs to another glass cage to take a better look*
Little boy: *runs to hug her in a tight embrace and smiles fondly* Okay?
Littler sister: *nods happily*

I couldn't help but smile. That little boy really made my day (:

Weihua's house is a majestic looking bungalow within the heart of one of the serangoon estates. But when you step in, you realise it's actually a cosy place. The kinda house that you could actually tell somebody lives there, not those kinda homes with not one item outta place. And his Mum, a Philipino, can really whip up her local delights which taste so good!

I spent a bulk of my time reading Dan Brown's Angels&Demons though, because they were so transfixed by guitar heroes and rock band, and I quite evidently don't exactly excel in such forms of entertainment.

In retrospect, I should have realised looking at Weihua's house would take me a mere 3 minutes. Oh well, it took me an entire day.

TUESDAY: I accompanied my grandma for her periodical medical check-up at CHG, together with my Mum. No surprise that they've started doing temperature taking, so we had to queue to enter, and we were even given masks to don. It's good practice, should a pandemic actually plague Singapore (=

Did you know, waiting is actually very draining? My grandma had two appointments lined up, and it took us till 3pm to get everything over and done with. At the end of it all, I was feelin' so tired >.< style="font-style: italic;">TOTALLY. That's the part where I couldn't really stand, not that I'm living in a distant traditional era, but because they really milked it so bad. I mean, you have the dogs perpetually atop each other, the only time they're apart is when they gotta run down this ramp that led to their doggy house. You have a mini decepticon-turned-autobot moving itself suggestively up and down Megan Fox's leg like a dog would. And of course, you have Megan Fox. Need I say more? Everytime she kisses, or so much as embraces Shia Labeouf, the unanimous dreamy sigh from the guys in the theatre is almost audible -.-

That said, I still think the show will blow you away with all the action, perhaps almost literally because they have so many scenes with stuff blowing up. Feel the wind man.

And that stupid writer from the Straits Times actually rated the movie 0.5/5 stars! Even if it sucked, it is DEFINITELY NOT THAT BAD. Wth, seriously.

THURSDAY: I finally managed to finish the book I've been chiong-ing, Angels & Demons! It's a really riveting novel, and to think Dan Brown's entire story occured within a day. Who knew one day could be so happening! And I love it to bits, I think it's wayyyy better than the movie. They changed the storyline so much in the movie, that it sucks. But I offer credit to the movie for allowing me to enjoy the book better, because it provided me with the visuals that I could build on when letting my imagination flow with the exhilarating contends of the book =D

Talk about a healthy day, I ate a rosy red apple, a slice of juicy watermelon, a nicely ripened banana, and a sweet kiwi! ^^

I stumbled onto this when I was browsing books at TIMES bookstore the other day.

-By Paulo Coelho: Brida-

'But how will I know who my soulmate is?' Brida asked.
'By tsking risks,' she said to Brida.
'By risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in your search for love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end.'

You hear people asking this all the time.
You hear similar answers being pushed forth all the time.

And I believe,
there's gotta be some truth in it.
