Darrell's finally 18!

LAST SUNDAY: Darrell's Eighteen. And he can't stop gushing over how fabulous it feels, although I seriously think there's no difference, unless he's been so damn deprived. Ha ha.

I had my first tutoring session with my Uncle's colleague's daughter. Name: Amy. She's from China so she needed a little help with her English and Science. Needless to say, her Math and Chinese is uber pro. She's been in Singapore only 3 weeks and counting but she pretty much aced her placement tests so they could put her in primary 4 and not hold her back a year.

And did I mention, she's already at a height that I doubt I could ever achieve, unless with heels. Damn I feel like a shortie.

My whole troop of cousins are in town so when we went for lunch, it's like 9 kids and 9 adults - almost like a nostalgic CNY reunion dinner =D Dinner was even better, the adults increased to 13. I got the honour of ordering the food for the kids table and I received glowing reviews from the adult's table about how I actually knew how to order food *HeeHee...

Darrell's mad HAPPY because he received so many ang paos la. And during dinner, 'cos we went to Big Eater to have seafood, the kids all got a crab shell to colour and they dedicated the shells to him. The end products were cue-ute! XD

I miss her.

And her too!

=))

..Heh..
Family.

The cousins in full force!

Off to cutting the cake!

Durain Cake from Angie's Choice, YUM!

Let's share the goodness!

Siblings.

When you're bored.

The ones from Venus.

Anyway, Happy Birthday my dearest brother. I'm sure this is one birthday you won't forget (:

MONDAY: I had my FIRST driving lesson today. My instructor's name is Simone and he's damn funny. He's those kinda dudes who makes lessons fun la! And he said so far, I'm having little problems. My head really swelled, I swear! Driving's SOOOOOOOO fun!!!

Tutoring followed, and then I accompanied my parents to the lawyer's to settle my Dad's and Grandmother's wills. The whole will sounds so pompous because they seem to use the most bombastic words in the lexicon -.- lawyers... tsk. HEH.

TUESDAY: I had to attend the biz academic briefing today and I realised just how clueless I was about the mods I wanna take. MANz. At least I found people to bid with, so I'll know a grand total of one familiar face for each class.

I met up with my group to discuss our OSCP later that evening. Our Org Comm's made up of 5 girls and 2 guys. And I am actually the Vice-Chair. HurHur...

WEDNESDAY: I had driving again today and my instructor said I did OK! I'm practically glowing with pride, heh heh. And I made it out of the circuit onto the ROAD, the actual road, the one where proper drivers take their vehicles on, the REAL DEAL. It's just super exhilarating! =D Learning manual driving gives me such a kick!

I had to come home to bid for mods with Clara, and after that, it was tutoring for Amy again. She lives near the Selegie tau huay area so I could walk to her house from school.

After tutoring, I actually went back to school to discuss the YEP workshop application form with Kelvin till late. Luckily, I had ZY in the vicinity and she took 12 home with me! Mag was there too =)

And I met a couple of ZY's group mates. Apart from a few casual 'Hi's, nothing much was said. But they gave me really nice vibes, people I feel I can actually make friends with. It's so sad I haven't found people like that in SMU :( ...WHY??? :'(
