I must confess, I drenched myself today trying to be a good Samaritan. You see, what happened was this:
I was walking home from tuition towards block 169 to grab lunch. As I was walking under a block of flats, I saw the tap at this particular wash area on FULL BLAST and there was nobody in sight. Oh well, I thought and moved on. But this nagging feeling that I should try to do something about it kept gnawing at me, I needed to save the precious water. I walked back -.-
I saw that the stupid tap had no handle to shut it off. That got me a little wet as I still tried to turn a non-existent knob atop the tap. I then tried something way more heroic, I picked up the hose and attempted, FEEBLY, to stuff it back into the opening of the tap.
BIG MISTAKE. The water splashed everywhere and I got damn wet. As if that wasn't evident enough that it's impossible, and I think I was trying to be a smart ass, I actually tried it again. I got totally soaked this time. Applause. GEEz.
On to brighter events in life... I had my first project meeting today. And it was actually quite successful, as in, we did what we set out to do, more or less. The only downside is the meager turn-up, but then again, that can't be helped.
I'm kinda in charge, awesome. But that's because this is really pretty unacad based already, ah well.
Oh yes, let me share with you some really hilarious 'Confucius sayings'.
Man who drives like hell, will soon get there.
Man who lives in a glass house, must change in the basement.
Man who goes to sleep with diarrhoea, wakes up in deep shit.
Man who runs in front of the car, gets tired.
HAHAHAHAHA! =D
