Sleep

WED: Boon Tiong and I practically browsed the entire catalog of movies but not one fitted our timing/interests, so in the end, it was dinner at NYNY at Parkway. Tell me I'm not the only one who doesn't know that NYNY exists in Parkway. Not a bad dinner - I had Cesar Chicken on Thick Toast. YUM.

We played pool after that and that bugger actually had the cheek to say he doesn't know how to play. He totally owned me la! But it was fun =D And I won 2 out of 5 games. Not a bad start for someone who's not touched it in a pretty long time, since my retirement from playing with Lloyd and WC.

Coffee at TCC Siglap. I feel like one big social creature, frequenting places as such where the office people usually meet to socialise. Okay, perhaps that's my stereotyping, but you gotta admit it's somewhat true.

Home at 11 plus. Slept at 1.30am.

THU: Driving in the morning so I had to wake up early, ugh. Need sleep. But it's worth every single bit of the lack of sleep. Know why! Because driving, rocked.

My usual instructor didn't come but in his place was this guy called Sam. Haha, he's so formal. He actually shook my hand before my lesson began and he's super on time :) He kept addressing me by name, which is pretty cool since most instructors don't exactly bother. And he has the most calm demeanor, so much so, I thought it isn't possible for a human to be this controlled. So we went driving on the road since he didn't think I would be able to complete my test routes.

On a side note, it's so unfair yet totally cannot be helped that the instructors' first impression of female learners is that each and every one is kayu. Wa lao. But on the flip side, it's good because I get to prove them otherwise. HEHHHH.

Anyway, so back to driving. This instructor is soooo meticulous, he actually wrote down pointers for me to take note of in my driving. And I must add, his handwriting is gorgeous. Respect! I completed the test route and so he taught me directional change! Woo Hoo, so fun. At least I get to learn something new! :D

And during his teaching, he told me I have the potential to drive a manual car. I tell yyyyoou, I felt so damn freakin' happy when he said that. Because you know what it entails, the hidden meaning. Y.A.Y!

Tuition with Nik and once again, her eating makes me wonder what extremes she hasn't yet reached.

Dinner with Travun. I, feeling that extra bit adventurous of late, decided to go watch 'Sorority Row'. Ha ha! It's a typical 'I know what you did last Summer' type of movie.

Sorority girls partying like mad -> One hot babe gets killed 'accidentally' -> Everyone agrees not to divulge anything. 8 months later: People who know of the secret dies mysteriously one by one -> Everyone starts to panic. Guess who's the murderer? (Hint: Stupid story)

While deciding where to go after the movie, we bumped into Yang! OH MY GOD! Super cool, because I haven't seen that fella since forever. And he's no longer looking gothic, he looks proper. Such cha awesome feeling.

Travun and I had dinner opposite TJ. Philip pon class to come join us and he drove! His car is so pretty. We went ECP to chill, with Roytson joining us afterwards. Philip's car has the open roof and I actually stood up while he was driving to feel the thrill. HIGH AH!

Home at 11pm, to go send my Dad off at the airport. He's flying again. He's been flying pretty frequently, I think my Mum misses him much.

Exhasuted.

FRI: Project meeting at 9am, Newton. Uggggghhhhhh. Tired like crap. But the meeting was fun, because we did filming and we were so efficient, it was a wrap within 3 hours! How awesome is that! =D And the stuff we filmed is damn amusing - we have a guy pretending to be a dog. Sounds derogatory, but when you get around to doing it, it's good fun. Largely due to the fact that our doggie actor was really sporting (:

Lunch with them at WaffleTown, at this place called Balmoral Plaza, opposite ACS Barker. I learn the existence of a new place today! Back to school for a talk. Find Kelvin to chit-chat. Drool at people roller-blading. Took bus home. Alighted earlier to purchase a redolent waffle. Home. Out of home for dinner. Home.

Yes, I covered much ground today.
And now, it's time to put that into a physical outlet.

Gonna run! (:
