Relief teach

Today's the first day I went back to do relief teaching and I swear it's such an exhilarating experience. I walked with my cousin to school in the wee hours of the morning - it's been a long time since I'm up and about before the sun shines on all mankind.

So there I was, restless and moving about as I waited for the normal routine of the day to kick in. Mondays is when they have their school song and school pledge, and it almost sounded if they were singing about nostalgia. I almost wanted to raise my hand during the pupil's pledge, HA, embarrassing yes.

Moving about the classes, I realised the school's so much more disciplined now. The students are really loveable. I managed to pick up a couple of names here and there, some of which are pretty unique ones. A few surprised me because they could recognise me as an ex-student, which is weird because I don't know when that could've happened.

The first day was indeed a really pleasant one! I hope it all goes well tomorrow, and the next day, and the next and the next and the next... until they don't need me anymore. We shall see =)
