Thank you guys so much for the wonderful night. And Willfred, I hope you enjoyed yourself too, that is what's most important! =)
Back to today:
I made a new friend today! This guy called Weng Woh; he's from HCI and turns out, he knows Zhikang; they were both from the same batch! He came alone and we were sitting next to him so I figured no harm saying Hello. After the lengthy talk, there was a splendid reception awaiting us! MAN, this is one of the best catered food I've tasted in a long time. Yummy! But I didn't get to try the cakes because they were gone so fast! Following that was a tour of the school facilities where it was revealed to us the really neat equipment the school possesses. And yes, guys who enter this faculty are SO lucky - the guy girl ratio is so evidently 1:5 (maybe 6 even?)! You can choose any type of girl you want, I swear. It's like a real-life catalogue of sorts. Apparently, the guys who will come after the girls'll be from the Engine school; the EEE School is just next door.
All in one, I really hope to come here. It's a blend of the style and extrovertedness of SMU and the fun of NUS =D
Amirah, Eehwee and I made our way home together and it took SOO long. It's a 50 minutes train ride all the way from Pioneer to Bedok, wa lao. I kept nodding off along the way. Argh, so tiring. If I'm going to study there, I can bet my life that I will not commute to and fro everyday. Hostel it will be! Oh yes, speaking of commuting, Eehwee and I have agreed to start learning driving together once she comes back from her overseas stint at the end of May. I shall not procrastinate any more =)
I was invited to join Derron and gang, along with Eehwee for K but I was so tired so I didn't go eventually. AJ had to book in at 8.30 so he didn't go either. But I believe they'll still have fun - Derron can zi high so damn easily!
I went for a jog today, after a month of no-jogging. So to make up for the month's worth of joggin, I did 6k! Accomplished, but my insides are feeling so soft now...
During the talk today, something that was said by one of the Profs realy got to me. He mentioned that people who blog have the power to reach out to the masses, and it is a moral obligation to speak on behalf of those who do not posses such a voice. I vow that I shall try to highlight the plight of those who need to be heard, and not merely indulge in my own rambling.
Yes, I will try.
