FRIDAY: Today, I received news that my services will not be required next week from Monday to Wednesday. So you know what this means??? I have a 5 day break, woo hoo! I'm so happy. But I wished I could go back to help with the marking though, it's so fun.
LianSheng was given 5 classes to mark for mid-years so I volunteered to take two classes from him. In the end, Alex and I split it up to mark. Haha, we set up this little booth where Kenny used to sit, and we had BingSheng & LianSheng coming over to look see look see when they were bored with their marking. Anyway, I LIKE MARKING XD
But I bet it's a very transcient feeling, still. I like it.
Alex invited me to his 21st Birthday Party at Aranda. BingSheng kept going on and on and on about how I can finally scam a rich guy there. In case I haven't already mentioned it, BingSheng swears I want to find a rich guy and live off him =.='
That afternoon, I met Zul and Rachel for lunch at Eastpoint. Atikah was suppoed to come but she was still sick. We were supposed to meet at 1pm but I came only at like 1.45pm, heh, was chiong-ing the marking. So we had lunch and chit-chatted till 4 plus. WOW right. I also think so. Rachel kept commenting how it was such a fun thing to do, which is true =)
Nothing beats catching up with friends over lunch!
SATURDAY: What a packed day! I woke up at 7am to a full day of activities! There was college day in the morning and they wanted us to report at freaking 8am, even though the actually thing starts much later at 10am. They needed to make sure our attendance was marked properly in order to aviod any blunder on stage. My class actually had 13 people getting awards for 4As and above in the A levels but eventually, only Kylie, Maria, Wan Yuan, AJ, Jonk, Niku, Shicong and myself turned up. Linc was there too, but for the photog exhibition.
The prize was ... *drum roll please* ... a crystal paperweight! I didn't know. I expected a voucher of sorts, but oh well, we were saying we could go pawn the crystal and get money for it. LOL. I guess it's the recognition that really matters. Still ......
It was pretty awesome seeing everyone dress up so formally. The girls pretty much each had a unique style of their own, but the guys, with their hair so short, all looked like carbon copies. Haha, pardon me, but it's so true!
After that, we tried to have a class photo taking but only like, 25% of the class was present. We were so bored so we sat down in the scope, Linc, AJ and I, to chat about life and the like. Shicong came to join us, and immediately, the convo was skewed towards relationships, HIS in particular. And no, it was not my doing. I think. I went home to change before meeting the rest for our (super mini) class outing. I took my own sweet time so the guys had to wait for me, ha, paiseh!
We ate something while waiting for Ange and Eehwee, and after they arrived, we scooted off to play pool! HAHA. Quite fun actually, nonwithstanding the fact that I can probably can count with one hand the number of times I've actually played pool. Eehwee brought out her camera and started taking snapshots of us all looking ever so pro with the our sticks ^^
Ange and Eehwee were gonna celebrate this friend's birthday in the evening so after we were done with pool, Eehwee changed into her heels. Mygod, I'm like going out with 2 super tall girls - superrrrrrrr intimidating! >.< style="font-style: italic;">somewhere...
