Warm and Fuzzy

Wednesday: I took a class that I liked today, as in, the first time I went in, they gave me a really good impression. So this second time that I went in, I spent the first 5 minutes getting everyone back into the class, after which I had a chit-chat session with a whole bunch of them. It's really cute how when a few of them start talking to you, the rest starts to gravitate towards the group as well.

What started off as a 'Teacher, did you know my nose has no bone?' became a REALLY DEAD ANIMATED AND COMICAL 45 minutes interaction. I'm not kidding, this student's nose, at the tip, has. no. bone. He has the bone at the nose bridge, but not where your nose is most pointed. So as you can guess, his nose is pretty flat. He actually let me press gently on that supposed pointy part, oh god, it's such a weird feeling to have it so soft. The things we take for granted - a nose cartilage. And he could dislocate his shoulder joints as well, so when you place your arm there, you can feel the whole joint like popping out. *shudders* Haha, but it was damn interesting. So after that, you have the rest starting to form this little crowd around you and this one guy (whom I learned from a classmate today that he is actually very flirtatious) started supplying me with all the cutest nicknames of everyone in this class. You have a teddy bear (not just any bear because this one smokes, dances, sings etc.), a black Chiwawa (or he's called PSP because his father is Sony Ericsson, like Sony created PSP so um, yeaaa...), a possessed soul (because he talks to himself and he's damn fair), an African kid (he's so damn skinny, just slightly shorter than me in heels and he weighs 33kg!!!), a tau gay beansprout (or they said he's the square of the kid who looks like an African child because he's very skinny, but two times the thickness of the other guy), a Gorilla (this one's a she, yes, the girls ain't spared)... I can't remember the rest already.

But you can imagine how crazy the whole thing could get! HAHA! I haven't laughed so hard, in so long. It feels good. I left the class with a really good feeling =D

Thursday: I went to that same class I liked again. They were so guai, I gave them work to do and they actually sat at their seats and did it. Guys and girls alike. One little impish fella, he brought this halloween mask to school and he was donning it and going around to scare his classmates. Or simply to just goof around. He's really small in size, so that made it all the more hilarious. He wore the mask and suddenly he had this brainwave to crack his friends up - he started digging his nose through the mask and then putting that imaginary piece of snot into his (mask) mouth before going 'yum!'. Ha! Really hilarious. But it was quite disconcerting when he proceeded to kiss this other guy ON THE LIPS, even if he had the mask on. Uggh. Madness.

I went to my cousin's class after that, which is also the neighbour class of the one I like, and of course, my cousin's class is not as obedient. But I expected that, so it was fine. My cousin bought sweets to share with his friends so his classroom floor was decorated with all those bright pink fruit plus wrappers -.- And the moment I stepped into the class, my cousin's classmates were like, "Cher, your cousin is mad and very annoying..." The girls were whining. Beats me why, I find him adorable. LOL.

And this evening, I had a very cute exchange with my mum. My Dad's down with a fever and all the common aliments that come with it, so my Mum has to prepare all the barley and crysanthemum drinks to jia liang. Therefore, the rest of the family gets to drink it too.

She went, "Your barley's in the two small cups."
"Huh, too small a cup or two small cups?"
There was a pregnant pause. I thought she ignored my question, which deserved to be ignored.
Then she said, "Aiyah, whatever la. Too chim."

It probably doesn't appear as the most bone-tickling exchange, but it's really cute when your Mum starts to speak like that. And it gave me this very warm family togetherness feeling, somehow. The fact that my Dad's sick brought us closer, because now, the whole family shares something in common - drinking barley =)
