Monday: Exams began today and since SG's on orange alert for the H1N1 virus, school's gotta cut down on congregations and there's to be two temperature checks daily. So everyone had their exams in the hall. Invigilation, contrary to popular belief, is actually extremely boring. You cannot do anything and you stand there and stone... you almost feel like nodding off man. But shiok, get paid for two 45minute periods of invigilation only XD
I had dinner with Shem at this Jap restaurant (we always have Jap) in Marina Square, next to Secret Recipe - Ryoshi something something... The weekday dinner sets go for like $8.9++, which is supremely cheap if you consider the fact it's those complete sets, topped with an ice cream. Shem was like, "I wonder why this cheapo ice cream tastes so good." Lol.
It was really nice catching up with her, too bad he took her away from me shortly after dinner. Not that we had anything planned but still :( I hardly meet her la. I slowly, quietly, made my way back home from Bedok Interchange.
Tuesday: I went out with my Mum to Bedok Interchange and while we were walking back along the same route, I had this sudden flash of Deja vu - erm, no big surprise there obviously. But it's just this very strange feeling, like, no matter how you're feeling there and then, the world is oblivious. No matter what, life goes on and everyone has to abide by this force of nature, or be left behind and forgotten.
Life moves so fast, it's scary.
