NSRCC

THURSDAY: I need to get my mind reaaaaaaaaally preoccupied so I don't start on thinking too much about things that don't actually matter anymore. Sighhh...

I was in luck! My aunt booked a chalet at NSRCC and boy, it's so chio! I think the last time I went there was more than a decade ago, and I don't even remember how the place was like then. The chalet is now really classy as it has all these glass walls instead of your atypical concrete ones. My aunt even volunteered to book this chalet for my twenty-first birthday celebration, lol! My brother was just remarking that that would be in 2011, and his would be in 2012 - the year the world will be doomed -.- What a cynic.

Apparently, this SAFRA resort is partly owned by SAF or something like that so it's very well-maintained. The amenities and facilities are awesomeee...! They have practically everything! Ok lah, most chalets do I think, but it's been a long time since I've been to a chalet other than those @Downtown East and so it seems to me like there's a really stark difference.

I had a full day of activities! I played squash - like my 3rd time and I'm so in love with the sport. The other time I played it was with Angelia in school, and that is eons ago. My aunt commented that I looked like I was dancing while I was playing - I needed my entire body weight to help me along you see... After that, we bowled. *CRIES* I've never bowled so badly in my life before. Out of 10 times, my ball went straight into the bunker like 7 times? GRRR. How embarrassing! My grand total was, umm, 37 or something? Wa Lao. I played pool with my cousin after that. My shots were pretty screwed up because my arm ached from all that strenuous smacking of the ball during squash -.- We played 3 games, I won twice because she hit the black ball in, and once because I'm pro, HEH.

Dinner was at Jumbo Seafood, and the adults were busy singing praises of the food. I really think I Do Not know how to appreciate good food because to me, the food was simply okay. No big deal. As food usually is to me...

Anyway, the chalet's on again today and I'm so gonna make sure I have a smashing time there! XD
