I struck a deal – a pretty lucrative one, with my Dad! He has agreed to get me a laptop! I. Am. So. Psyched! So I spent a good 2 hours plus browsing laptop sites and comparing prices and designs, until I felt so shag. I remember I used to feel like this after mugging a whole day during the A level study period. And towards the dawn of evening, my eyes felt like they were going to roll into the back of my head anytime. Gee, too much slacking has drastically lowered my endurance. After perusing the countless brands, I pretty much wanna settle on either a Fujitsu laptop or a MacBook. My brother says it’s very act if I get a Mac and he has a couple of girlfriends who own one but they don’t know how to use it. Damn, he thinks I’m dumb. Anyway it seems like all my friends who’ve pledged their allegiance to Mac are practically worshippers. Mmmm… Whatever! I just can’t wait to own one! My very own one! Like finally~ And the good thing is! I can probably try to kop all the O.S. from Linc F.O.C., heh, thanks man!
Yesterday my grandmother gave my brother and I a red packet each. It’s a pretty out-of-the-blue thing but the cool thing is, there were $16 in it and it consisted of the old series of bird notes! A one-dollar note, a five-dollar note and a ten-dollar note – all in minted condition and very crisp! I think my grandmother has a secret stash of old notes hidden somewhere. My brother went ballistic with excitement!
Yesterday, also, I went swimming with my Dad. We usually head down to SIA Sports Club and yesterday when we were there, my Dad kept waving to people he knew. It’s quite fun meeting so many people you know but he remarked that it’s not good to reveal his anatomy to too many people who knew him. Trust him to say such a thing, Haha! After our swim, we met my Uncle to go view the Double Bay Residences over at Simei. It’s pretty crazy how many Singaporeans flood the place during a period of impending economic downturn, but it was crazier how many property agents there were, so much so they actually had to queue up in order to get the chance to bring the people who came to view the show flats around. That said, Double Bay Residences is actually quite a charming place. They have all sorts of really cool amenities available for the residences, even an elevated Jacuzzi and a five-storey waterfall cascading into the swimming pool enclosed by a backdrop of flora and fauna. Brag Brag-ing Brag-gers.
AJ mentioned to me he’s never read a blog as verbose as mine, and in proper English. I’m sorry man, to make you have to read this since you feel a tinge of being obliged to. But really, no need! =D Then again, thanks for wasting the time to, even though you could be doing a million other more highly productive stuff during your precious book-out time.
DAMN. I’m at a pathetic loss on what I intend to do now that I’ve received my results. What the hell. Before, I was stressed over how I would do during my exams, then I was stressed over my results, now my latest headache comes in the form of my future. Sounds like such a big word which entails so much responsibility, maturity and decision-making, of which I suck at. SIGH. I wished I knew what would be the best deal for me. It’s really between Communication Studies, Biz Admin or Psychology. ARGH. S-O-M-E-B-O-D-Y! Tell me what to do?

topic 1
Choosing a laptop
If u choose anything other than Mac Book, these are few thing u need to take look
if u can wait for half a year, wait for window 7 service pack 3...it is much better than vista..
Vista is a very strong OS because of it safety. Most of the virus online attack XP instead of Vista. Vista is design to challenge Mac book, that y the outlook and safety is upgraded, of coz after all , in term of safety, mac book still better.
If choose a laptop using Vista, ur ram must at least 2gb, if not ur laptop will be like an ant. This is because vista safety system took up a lot of ram, without 2gb will really cry.. recommended is 3gb.In the market most of the laptop already offering at least 2gb, but if i were u i will throw in a little abit more to get 3gb.
Secondly, you must know what will u going to do with this laptop. Gaming? or normal office work. If normal office work, CPU 2.0 dual core will be good enough.
For office work laptop, these is quite ok already.
For gaming laptop, u will need more things like ghy card, sound card. ghy card at least 512 MB external card. Sound card not sure lol haha...
It is very hard for some1 who dun no mac to use mac because of it special design. Alot of ppl buy mac because it look cool. But in fact, do u need a mac? well..it is depend on u le... Mac is commonly use in design firm...
Third thing to look into is the weight, dun think 2kg is very light..u carry everyday u will cry.
lastly u will look for battery life. i dun think u want to bring the charge everyday... if u want to have a longer battery life i will suggest get SSD instead of hard disk laptop. SSD save more power although is slower than hard disk by few seconds.

What to choose for ur future
Last time when i choose what to study for my degree, i took sometime to do my research and thinking.
I believe alot of ppl asked u to choose something u like, but alot of ppl actually dun no what they like. Here is how i found out whether i like the course or not, i hope it help u.
1: Open ur choice, dun limit any chance.
Now u set down to 3 course but what if these 3 course u all dun like?
2: look in the all the course, what subject you r going to study, what kind of job u r able to go upon completion.
3.1: Do detail research about those subject. What kind of nature are those subject, theory? maths? analysis? research base? study of others' thinking?
3.2: Do detail research about those job that offer upon completion? what about those job nature, what will i need to do?
4: After 3.1 and .2 you will know what is more suitable for u. I believe surely there is few job and subject you will prefer.
Next you can narrow down to a few courses that meet what u want.
5: Thinking. You will need to understand what kind of thing u prefer. For me, i am more like a analysis and maths kind of person instead of writing lol.
Are your nature fit those course?
Try to feel the subject, will you like the subject? Dun force yourself to understand it. Come on, u dun understand mean u dun understand, which mean u need to take more time than others to understand them.
In my own opinion, Business admit is something very general, very surface thing, usually ppl take business admit in master lvl instead of degree.
BBA give u a choice of alot of job in the future, true enough. But u will surely need alot more training and retraining compare to those ppl who already specialist in something ( like finance, marketing, accounting, etc)
BBA u will need to study for alot of different thing. Just like u will have 20 knife. Truth enough u k kill alot of ppl (job in this case) but, ppl who specialist in something = having a rocket.. Which 1 cost more dmg. well u know the answer...
Of coz, what u study might not be what u work as, but will it be better if u study something u like and work for something u enjoy?
No point studying something which u find no interest on it.

choose carefully, i chose wrong course for my diploma. and i dun hope same thing happen to u in ur degree.
