Geez, I feel like the whole wide world is infiltrated with students who hail from the same school as I did. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just a little disconcerting to know that you have to start moving about incognito if you don't want to be recognised. LOL. I speak as if... Okay, it's not. My point is, I've been seeing so many Changkat people around, both past and present. It's actually quite fun, like you have this little bit of familiar faces admist the sea of singaporeans who flutter by you when you're out.
Actually, sitting at my desk and typing this, while taking in the quietness and people-less surroundings of my room is actually very soothing. I've been going out so much the past few days that I've almost quite forgotten the comfort of being alone. This is so very nice.
This afternoon, I met those two for pool! We were supposed to meet at 2pm but since one of them was busy, it postponed to 3.30pm. I arrived... pretty much on time. But all the pool tables were fully booked, so we slacked at the bowling alley while waiting for out turn at the tables. There were so many school going children there... Reminds me of the rare occassions I went to SAFRA Tampines with the guys as well. Oh yah, we were so bored, we played darts! Mine could actually stay on the board, ha.
In the end, all our waiting was in vain because by the time I left at about 6pm, there were still no empty tables available. In the end, we went to the MINDS Cafe and there was a promotion going on - $5 for 4 hours of play and free flow of drinks till 6pm. AWESOME... Even though it was close to 5pm by the time we reached the place, it was still a much better way of passing time, compared to doing absolutely nothing at the bowling alley. Oh yeah, I saw my TJ juniors who were in bowling there practicing. Ha, TeeJayyy.... those were the days.
I was late for my meeting with Ryan, so paiseh la. In thd end, we had dinner at SUBWAY, been a long time since I ate there. We saw Kenny, he looks really different. And he actually kinda speaks with a slang, MMMMMM. After dinner, we went window shopping. Ryan couldn't find something that fit until we hit UNIQLO, which was our final shopping stop. He bought 4 pieces pretty quickly, wow right.
On my way home, I saw Nydia, Jazzene and the other guy (I forgot his name! >.<). I wanted to aviod them but Nydia saw me. Oh well, so I chatted with them on the way back home. They're so cute. I mean, the moment I'm out of my teacher-ish mode, these students are really like my friends. So it was pretty fun talking to them, nonwithstanding the fact I kept suan-ing him but he maintained a certain degree of respect. HEE HEE.
