Today, there were no formal lessons and teachers would go into the classes at half-hour intervals to allow the students to check their scripts. So there I was, along with all the other relief teachers, taking up 9 half-hour slots - damn chiong-ed! WAHH. And I took the lower secondary some more, GOSH, it requires so much effort.
Even before morning assembly, I was already feeling woozy, like how you would when you didn't really have a good night's rest. Siian. But because the periods were so short, moving about was such a blessing. At least I was not stagnant at a place for a typical 50 minute period. In some classes, I practically zoned out, so much so I was just staring at the flurry of students moving before my very eyes in class, and yet still not really seeing them. The din they made seemed to resonate in slow motion. Yes, I was really tired. Funnily, as the day wore on and I got used to it, the energy came back. My second last period was a joined one, so it became a 55 minute period. And guess what! I was suan-ed for practically the entire duration. I know lol wouldn't really sound very apt, but it was quite amusing. The stuff they think of, HAHA! Hilarious!
Luckily my last period was with a much more pleasant class. Quieter. Thank goodness for the peace! That marked the end of the first day of school after a 5 day break, woo hoo! I survivedddddddd! XD
