There weren't very many periods but school was somehow, so tiring. Because today's a Friday and school concludes early, all of us relief teachers had to waste time at school before booking out. It was nice, interacting.
I had tuition after school and my GOD LA! The weather can literally kill. I was visibly melting even under the shade of my umbrella. I admit, the umbrella's shade isn't like fantastic or anything like that, but it's still SHADE. And it's also useless under the sweltering heat. I borrowed my cousin's shirt to change before tuition, heh. Such a relief to get out of that stuffy long shirt I wore to school.
Tuition started late because my cousin was waiting for me to have lunch with her. Afterwhich, she grew soooo super inattentive during lesson, hais. I had to start on another one of my pep talk sessions =(
So after tuition, I went down to Safra Tampines to meet the both of them. This time we got to play pool and guess what! I actually won. I don't know if it's because they let me, or it's beginner's luck, or what. Fact is, I won, period! XD YAY! I'm actually not that noob, heh. After that, we went to MIND's Cafe again but this time there was no more of that promotion and we took another combo that set us back $20 each for 3 hours of play, plus salad, drinks and a main course. They're super generous with their salad! Next time you wanna go somewhere for salad, come here! ^^ Anyway, it was super fun playing the games at the Cafe, the two of them make GOOD company!
We left the place and they still wanted to go back to play pool, so I tagged along even though I had no intention of playing. There, we saw this 6 year old boy who was playing pool by himself, but he's so goddamn pro! I SWEAR! He's so good for his age, it's amazing. The guys were saying they wanna sign him on early and be his manager, haha. I spoke to the Mum and learned that this little boy's cousin actually taught him the game at age 3. Imagine, in a mere three years, he's grown to be so good. And he's only SIX! wow.
Eventually, I walked home with one of them who stayed near Bedok Interchange while the other fella walked back to his home in Tampines. We agreed to challenge but obviously, the one staying in Tampines reached home so damn fast -.- I took 45 minutes from Safra back home.
Oh man, I'm so tired. I need my sleep! I have two birthday parties and an alumni gathering to attend tomorrow! *lets share the joy!*
